mild dyslexically and computer science

I am not very great at computer science and I think I finally I understand why.

Last week, my professor taught my class how to find out the character size of words.

Pretend the word was text, the code for it would be,

text.lenght()

I was using this code and my program would not compile. I had no idea why. Then some genius next to me, was like "Hey, you spelled length wrong."

Then last night I sent my program to wrong email address. I sent it to lee@unlv.cs.edu, it is suppose to be lee@cs.unlv.edu. Thank god, my professor is nice and still accepted it.
