TED

I was reading through my Google Reader and came across this blog entry. I really enjoyed the lecture by George Dyson and was thirsty for more. I never heard about TED so cuiled it (I am trying to calm my Google obsession).

TED stands for Technology Entertainment Design and its a annual convention. At the convention they have all these ingenius people give eighteen minute presentations on their ideas. How cool is that?

Nellie Mckay, Theo Janson, and Robert Lang have all presented at this conference.

Thank god they record the lectures and offer them online. Seriously, check out this website, it is amazing.

I have added a new life goal...#11 Attend TED conference someday. Oh yeah, I am going. I will be the damn cleaning lady!
