Renewable Energy Symposium

The Symposium was held in the Stan Fulton building. The Fulton building is also known as the International Gaming Institute. IGI is located near the Atomic Testing Museum. IGI is a nice building. Before you enter the front doors, you cross a bridge and underneath is a creek with ducks (and trash). (I am taking sociology of gambling this fall so it was cool to see inside the building.)

The Symposium was more focused on renewable energy research and information in the Las Vegas Valley. It was cool because Frankie and I know about local projects.

The emcee of the event was Nate Tannenbaum. You may not recognize his name but he used to be a weatherman. He always wears a bow tie. He was a wonderful host.

The entire event was free and it with food. I believe the Office of Strategic Energy Programs hosts the event every year.
